Musicians & Artists Portfolio Website

Seeger Music

Gary Seeger is a freelance music supervisor and artist manager in Australia. Gary wanted a website that he was able to add content himself and in pre-defined template format for the content as well as a 'blank canvas blog'. He also wanted a artist/ music supervision category page of the content of the bands and other from their respective content pages. The content pages play mp3's from the band with a quick tag insertion as well as inserting a youtube video very easily, there is no 'embedding code' and the errors that can cause for templates. We also included a google font to enhance the heading titles.

"Over the years one hires many IT type people who tend to rattle off a language that seems so foreign.  Russell Hammond was a breath of fresh air putting everything in layman terms.  He answered all my questions about my site construction and reached all my deadlines.  From day one of my site going live I received numerous positive feedback.  And he has been most helpful and quick to respond with any ongoing questions or issues. I am very happy with the result - we are all very impressed and will recommend you"

Website upgrade

www.colourconsulting.net.au  was upgraded after 3 years of use. All websites are upgraded from time to time. It sends a message to clients that website and business is active and that you, the business owner, are interested in your business.

The website was changed to a more vibrant burn't orange as the base colour to reflect the nature of the business -  colour. A photo gallery for each unit of the business was included in the upgrade, the gallery uses 'light box' view method to view. The front page uses a random image from each repective gallery to take the user to the relevant page.

A PDF to match the design of the site was created for a user to keep a copy of information about services offered by the business. The PDF can also be emailed or printed and sent to potential clients. The matching creation echos consistency across design which is good business practice.

Deck Outdoors

Corporate website with E-commerce

Owner Lisa McGowen is a outdoor fabric decorator specialist. She wanted a website that reflected her style providing information about her services and products as well as selling fabrics online. The buyer is able to order a swatch of the fabric as well as per metre price. There are plans for a complete product catalogue and the site capable to do that.

Lisa wanted the fabric gallery which is the online store to mimic a photogallery style layout with 'more information and quote' as a link to more product information. The work involved a number of core hacks and reworking.

The e-commerce template system is able to create different templates and functions for different products and categories.

Site includes

  • Product information pages
  • Online store intergrated with PAYPAL payment solution
  • Photogallery of products aka style gallery
  • Quote link for customers to obtain a quote for the product that they are viewing without having to purchase the product.
